Once you open your Beatport Studio plugin selections in your DAW, you’ll notice that you will not be asked for a licence or serial: this is because Beatport Access is used to activate your plugins.
The Beatport Access application enables communication between the plugins you’ve selected and the Plugin Boutique servers. This means that you’ll always be able to access the plugins you have selected and will not be able to access the plugins you’ve removed from your selections (or plugins that you haven’t yet selected).
Because of this, to use your Beatport Studio plugin selections, Beatport Studio will need to be logged in and running in the background at all times.
If you don’t have Beatport Access running, your plugin selections will display: “Please make sure that Beatport Access is running. This plugin has been frozen. It will use the settings that were set prior to being frozen. Any changes will not be saved. Please open Beatport Access to check the status of your license.”
If you have Beatport Access logged out, your plugin selections will display: “Please sign in to Beatport Access to enable your license. This plugin has been frozen. It will use the settings that were set prior to being frozen. Any changes will not be saved. Please open Beatport Access to check the status of your license.”
